Jitter is the variation in latency (ping) over time. Even if your average ping is low, high jitter can cause choppy video calls, audio glitches, or lag spikes in games.
Under 5ms is great, 5โ15ms is acceptable for most uses, and above 30ms can start to noticeably affect calls and real-time gaming.
