This tool turns one or more images into a single PDF, with each image placed on its own page. It's a common need for anything a scanner app or camera produced as separate JPGs or PNGs — receipts, ID documents, whiteboard photos, signed pages — that you want as one shareable, printable PDF instead of a folder of loose image files.
Conversion runs through pdf-lib.js. JPG and PNG files are embedded directly with pdf-lib's embedJpg() and embedPng() methods, which read the image's existing compressed data and place it into the PDF without re-encoding it, so there's no quality loss beyond what the original image file already had. Other formats, like WebP, first pass through the browser's canvas API to be redrawn and re-encoded as PNG before embedding, since pdf-lib can only embed JPG and PNG image data directly.
Each page is sized to match the image placed on it, so a mix of portrait and landscape photos produces a PDF with differently sized pages rather than one uniform page size. Because the conversion doesn't read EXIF orientation metadata, a photo that displays right-side-up on your phone due to an orientation flag can appear rotated in the output — rotate the source image first if that happens.

The tool doesn't read EXIF orientation data from photos, so an image that only looks upright because of a camera orientation flag can appear sideways in the PDF. Rotate and re-save the image before uploading if this happens.
Can I mix photos of different sizes and orientations in one PDF?
Yes — each page is sized to fit its own image, so a document with both portrait and landscape photos ends up with pages of different dimensions rather than being forced to a uniform size.
